The
main purpose of this project is to build a world-class digital museum containing
historical, geographical, and materials related to "A Record of the Tang's
Western Reaches" written by Master Xuanzang. The digital museum built
by this project is designed to become an invaluable resource not only to the
researchers interested in related topics but also to the teachers, and students
of elementary and middle schools. This project is a joint effort of contents
experts (Chung-Hwa Institute of Buddhist Studies [http://www.chibs.edu.tw/]),
computer scientists (Department of Computer Science and Information, Engineering,
National Taiwan University
[http://www.csie.ntu.edu.tw/]),
