p. 199 You have favoured me so very long already with your Monthly which I read with the greatest interest. Particularly the last numbers have fascinated me through the pages devoted to the memory of Bunyu Nanjio. We have in the years 1882 and 1883 both lived in tile same street of Oxford, he at the end in 'Llantrisant House' and I in the middle of the street in Ratcliffe Villas 5. find we often were together, also some evenings with Max Muller. At a time I even had on loan from him his Lankavatara copy which now has been so scholarly published with the assistance of Professor Wogihara. Freiburg, Baden, Deutschland.
