![]() The Biography of Xuanzang and the Records of the Western Regions This section, "The Biography of Xuanzang and the Records of the Western Regions", presents the main themes of this program from a literary and historical perspective. ¡@¡@In this section a modern colloquial Chinese version of the "Story of the Great Master Xuanzang" is provided as a primary example. It includes pictures to provide a vivid method of explanation for every section. After referring to a number of other related texts, we have divided this primary example into 10 chapters and 60 sections. Every section links with the following texts in the Buddhist canon: The Great Tang Biography of the Dharma Master Tripi?aka of the Great Cien Temple and The Great Tang Records of the Western Regions (collated and annotated).
